Four Miles Plus 3 Short Hills

After I did some strength training, I went for a four mile run outside (average pace 10:03/mi). Then it was time for a little hillwork on the treadmill - just three ten second hills. It's not much, but I'm slowly building back up.

Pre-run: Strawberry Cream of Wheat cereal and a hard-boiled egg
Shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer 13

  1. Sounds great! I must admit, I often felt a bit intimidated when I read other runner's mileage. But I'm beginning to learn that most runners rejoice in each others efforts.

  2. Running 14K (or 8.7 miles, for those of us in think in miles!) is hard work. Glad you did it!
